INDIEana Handicraft Exchange Winter Market

Friday December 7  |  5pm – 10 at The Harrison Center

Once again, our juried annual holiday show will be held on the First Friday of December, at the Harrison Center for the Arts, in conjunction with their color-themed group show and winter open studios. The application to be considered as a vendor for the December 7th event is now live on our website, below. Before applying, please be sure to read through our FAQ for the complete details of the event. The application will remain open through Saturday, September 1st at midnight.

The holiday show will run from 5pm-10pm the evening of Friday, December 7th. Load-in for vendors will begin as early as 2pm. Each vendor will have an indoor booth space, 9′ wide x 6′ deep, in one of two locations, either The Gymnasium or The Underground. The application fee is $20 and is due at time of submission and is non-refundable. All applications will be reviewed by a jury after September 1st, and all applicants will be notified of their status for the event by Sunday, September 16th. If accepted into the event, the remaining booth fee will be $94, and a PayPal invoice will be sent to collect that balance within two weeks of notification of acceptance into the event.

The application for our annual summer show (always held in June) will be available on our site in the first week of February 2019.

First Friday September – Erik Lundorf

Join us in store for First Friday on September 7 and October 5 from 6pm – 8pm in store to celebrate the work of local artist, Erik Lundorf!

With a Studio Art concentration in oil painting, Erik graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. He currently works on a wide range of projects from privately comissioned portraits and personal comic strips to commercial illustration and digital design. This line of work titled “Indiana Monsters” will be on display in our store through the months of September and October.

ICYMI August 3, from new cards, to jewelry, to drink accessories, our shelves are ever-changing! And we have a lot to show you this week – in case you missed it (wink).

This restock from Haven Paperie confirms that she is our spirit animal (see overalls card above). Also, her tiny cards are perfect as lunchbox notes or to attach to a gift!

New vendor, Pneu Paper, creates beautifully designed cards featuring rare and surprising words! We won’t lie, we didn’t know half of these, but we love that you can learn something new with each card. And don’t worry, the definitions and inside salutation can be found on the back!

INDIEana Handicraft Exchange Winter Market

This holiday, give the gift of handmade! Shop 50+ makers and artists during our annual Winter Market on Friday, December 7th from 5pm – 10pm at our regular venue, the Harrison Center!

Our Winter Market is held in conjunction with the Harrison Center’s monthly First Friday gallery openings, their annual color-themed show, and artist open studios. This event is indoors, with the exception of food trucks outside on Delaware Street, is free to the public as always, and is a great way to knock out holiday shopping!

Get free raffle tickets during our Winter Market by bringing in donations for Project Home Indy and Coburn Place! The holidays are the perfect time to give back and you’ll get a chance to win product from our makers too!

And as always, be one of the first customers in line at 5pm to get a free swag bag with goodies and coupons from the artists!
