What We’re Loving Right Now

While most love cards reek of sentiment, have no fear as we’ve got admiration cards for the non-mushy of heart. From bone puns, to Benedict Cumberbatch innuendos, Prince, and more, our card vendors got your back.

If you’ve been struggling to find your zen during this Mercury-in-retrograde or new-moon or whatever-is-going-on time, stop in to pick up some handmade incense and chakra room sprays. Then do some retail therapy with gemstone jewelry -that you can also use during your meditation. It’s all going to be okay.

Your house has enough outlets for all those nightlights above. They make great gifts too for the pop culture lover! -And they’re going fast!

Small amounts of sparkle your thing when it comes to jewelry? Then you need to come in and pick up an eco-resin ring from Sloane Jewelry Design. ICYMI July 13

ICYMI July 13 – Friday the 13th to be exact. Yet, have no fear, we’ve got your luck covered today! From new Indiana pillows to bath and body to stationery, throw superstition to the wind and shop handmade!

Last week we showed you the patriotic Indiana pillow, but we also promised there were more styles in store. And here they are! In lovely neutral tones, these gorgeously well-made pillows are just waiting to be on your couch.

New vendor, Food Family Story, sent us so many deliciously printed products we got hungry! This line is a perfect gift for the foodie. With notebooks, recipes cards, and tea towels, it’s a housewarming gift waiting to happen.

Minimal mavens will rejoice in the expanded collection from Evermore Paper Co. Lines, geometry, and pattern, in a cohesive color story, decorate the pages of this anthology. And we think this stationery is an ideal choice for the boss babe’s office.

Weekend Plans

If you’re anything like us, the weekend is for making the most minimal effort when it comes to our appearance. Yes, we’ve hit that age, and we’re okay with it. But, if you still need something on your face before leaving the house, may we suggest the new Glossy Lip Tints from Aromi Beauty?

These balms add a sheer pop of color to your lips (and cheeks). And the Rose Quartz color is a nice shimmery neutral that can double as a highlighter! They smell great too! And at only $14, you can buy one (or two) less things from Glossier.

And if your weekend plans also include snuggling up with your new book (because it’s too damn hot outside), you need a snarky bookmark from Fiber and Gloss. We’re partial to the “My book is better than your tablet” choice.

Woven Wonders

Shop the weavings of local textile artist, Ribbon + Roving, during the months of July and August. As the featured in-store artist in our mini gallery space, we have a whole wall dedicated to her work! Large weavings are just $40 and small weavings are only $30! ICYMI July 6

ICYMI July 6, our shelves are stocked with new vendors, new product, and we have a new featured artist in our mini gallery space for the months of July and August!

Long loved artist, Alternate Histories, is back with new goodies and old favorites.  They bring the historical to life with sci-fi fixtures and monsters – “Because everything’s better with monsters,” as they say.

And we couldn’t agree more. Look what they did below with some of our city’s most famous structures.

From sci-fi propoganda posters to “Monsters of The United States,” Alternate Histories’ prints and cards make great gifts for the history buff with sense of humor.

Grey Theory Mill

Another long-time vendor and favorite in store, Grey Theory Mill, has restocked us in geometric bracelets, stamped studs, and more!

And, what do we love most about Grey Theory Mill? She sources her materials as close to home as possible. And if she can’t find something local, she ensures that the materials are sweat-shop free.

Those studs, and all of her earrings, have surgical grade A titanium posts. -Which is more hypoallergenic than sterling silver.

Just so many reasons to love this line.

Summer Solace

Find relief from the heat with new summer hair scarves from Pointelle Designs. Coordinate, or mix and match, your prints by pairing your scarf with button earrings made of the same fabric!

And for the summer Monon user, pick up the new painted sign from Inspired Woodcrafts. We see this in Dad’s den or office!

Hand-designed and hand-printed, Andria Green has restocked us with her wall hangings, napkins, and a few prints. And Jolly Good Designs sure makes us feel jolly-good. From dog beer koozies to “Drunken Thoughts” notebooks, we can’t help but giggle over their goods.

Ribbon + Roving

For the months of July and August, you’ll be able to shop the woven collection of Ribbon + Roving. On display in our mini gallery space in store, weavings range from just $30 – $40. So, stop in to get one before they’re gone!
