Why is this Crafternoon more expensive than the Crafternoons held in the past?

While we try to keep our Crafternoons around $15-20, the supplies for this class are much more expensive. The materials that we use for most of our other classes (yarn, clay, paint) last us a few classes worth, however, the materials for this class will be single-use.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Crafternoon: Polymer Clay Ring Dish

Make polymer clay ring dishes with Homespun Modern Handmade on Saturday May 12!

Crafternoon: Polymer Clay Ring Dish

We’re starting Saturday Crafternoons at Homespun!

In these beginner-level crafting sessions, our projects will be less involved than our traditional workshops, but they’ll still send you home with a trendy, completed project! All supplies will be included for every class!

For our upcoming Crafternoon on Saturday May 12th, we’ll be making polymer clay ring dishes!  You’ll have the opportunity to mold and bake 2 ring dishes and paint them in anyway you’d like! And because crafting is always more fun with some bubbly, we’ll be providing some prosecco for you to sip on too! This class will run from 2pm – 4pm.

Your fearless crafting-leader for this event will be our own Operations Manager, Amanda Dowdal.

Amanda has a fine art degree from Herron School of Art & Design. And when she’s not photographing product for our shop, coordinating our events, booking our gallery space, or writing our weekly blog, she still finds time to practice her artistic skills in drawing, printmaking, watercolor, and photography (to name a few). To see more of Amanda’s work outside of our shop, you can follow her on Instagram – @amandadowdalcreative.

And like most of our classes, this one will be BYOB -and feel free to bring snacks to munch on as well!
